If you get your reception of Five from the Welsh sub-region then, unless your dish is large enough for 2D, you will lose the signal as it has now moved to 2D.

Which transponder has it moved to? I've not seen any changes on Lyngsat or Kingofsat - the only Five they have on 2D is the one on the BBC transponder that's used for Freesat.

Sorry, no information on that but it appears that it's not just the Welsh that's moved, it's Region 2 (South, Midlands, East, Wales, Northern Ireland).
So, most FTV cards registered to English, Irish or Welsh cards will now get their Five from 2D. Apparently Scottish and Yorkshire cards still get their signals from 2A.
This doesn't affect the Freesat signal which remains on 2D.
Thanks to Analoguesat at Satellites for the informtion.

Hmm. Mine must be a Yorkshire region, as it's borderline Midlands and Yorkshire.

Should be easy to find out. What local programme is showing on ITV1 at 6:00pm and on BBC1 at 6:30pm? (UK times so add an hour for CET)

So for those of us who've lost Five, is there any chance of finding it manually on the 'Extra Channels'? Also, any news about Fiver and Five USA? (Still got these at the moment.)

You should be safe with these for a reasonable time as, apparently, Five have no plans to make these FTA.
