Hi I just would like to inform anyone that is interested that I use a 1.8m dish , bought from APEXSAT in Germany and I am able to have almost fulltime reception of 123&4.I live in upper austria.

Whereabouts in Upper Austria are you? 1.8 meters is definitely enough close to the German border. The further east you are, the bigger your dish needs to be. Close to Lower Austria, you would probably need more like a 2.4m dish, unless you have very high quality equipment like Satdx ...

I live in the hausrückwald area thats close to ampflwang,I use an alps universal lnb and a humax receiver with about 30m of regular cable, it`s the dish that makes the difference , before we had a 1.5m dish and only bearable reception in good weather.
