There is no official way to buy SKy subscription in Poland, the only thing you could do is to subscribe it in the UK and bring it over to Poland. And there is another issue - in order to watch BBC & ITV you would need to have at least 1,8 dish
I have myself 1,8 dish in Krakow and receive BBC & ITV, if you need some info email me - igorlan@onet.pl

Help please
I would be very happy to hear from anyone who can advise me of a company who can supply and fit me an 1.8 meter satellite dish so i can receive BBC and ITV through Astra 2D in Krakow. My e-mail is cl3002870@yahoo.co.uk
I have written to igorlan@onet.pl and hope to hear from this happy BBC and ITV viewer.
I currently have all the SKY channels through my B SKY B subscription but i am not receiving BBC and ITV

Just installed a 3 meter dish in Plock, Central Poland and have no problem getting all the FTA stations, even late at night, so I would have to recommend a 3M dish. Got a local installer to fit the dish and have bought the Sky Subscription service plus Digibox from UK supplier and shipped so one contented happy camper here.

Yes Im from Northern Ireland moved to Poznan in western Poland two years ago. Brought with me my Sky+ HD box, purchased a 2m satellite dish (acting on information from a so called 'local expert' who claimed to be a fan of Sky). Had to install the dish on the roof. From the beginning I could receive all BBC channels (regional variations BBC1NI and BBC2NI and Channel4 on 104) couldn't receive UTV but through the other services button managed to tune in local variations of ITV. Of note could NOT also receive ITV2, ITV3, ITV4 and E4, E4+1 and More4 (strangely could receive More4 + 1 - anyone any ideas why?).
Lately since Wimbledon (mid June), and more importantly since Andy Murray getting into the semi-final, reception for BBC channels (all four of them) went down (normally happened in bad or inclement weather), C4 also went down along with More4 + 1.
All Sky channels continue to work fine, but they drive me crazy with their constant ads which are not even of the same quality as ITV and C4 (all about loans, dying, pets insurance)
So if anyone can offer some assistance please do? I'm slightly technical (but I don't know my vertical from my horizontal transponders - and don't even know where they could be found - via my digibox panel or is it a hardware issue?). From talking to some people they suggested from the beginning installing a larger dish - yet I see from other people here who are more East than I am (Krakow, Katowice) that they can receive these channels with a 1.8m dish. So perhaps I or my 'local expert' are doing something wrong (incidentally has anyone else discovered that satellite installation people here in Poznan charge almost twice as much as they do in the UK, we're almost talking Sky professional call-out fees)

You're having problems with vertical transponders: see http://www.flysat.com/28east.php Reception is always worse in the hot months in fringe areas. Slow decline in reception is usually caused by deterioration in the LNB. Cheaper models go down faster than good ones. The dish could have moved slightly, or even just have bird droppings on the LNB if it is on roof. Best bet is to replace the LNB. If you have access to the dish, post some pictures on a photo sharing site and link to them here.
